So what exactly are the load details? $4 a mile doesn't necessarily mean it's a winner every time. It says "load details" but the really important load details are missing. I love how brokers always do that.

 

Looks like OP cut the 'load details' down, but yeah. I don't know- I try to include as much pertinent information as I can with the load itself. It's alarming how many drivers/dispatchers still miss "oversize" dimensions on a call, though, for instance.

Think it goes in all directions, really, and I think it's a function of the booking process. Everyone's hustling to get either the truck they need or the load they need, and they don't take the time to look at what either party needs.

 

Even if there is nothing hidden, these are very rare and you'd have to watch the app 24/7 to catch something like that.
Sometimes, however, they do throw candies like that though, I guess to make them look like a good uncle. Just like Stalin did to the kids in Soviet Russia.

50 pallets on a reefer load is kind of unusual for a load that heavy. I've had 50 pallet reefer loads, but the weight was more like 30-38,000 pounds of fresh/frozen fruit or veggies. Much heavier and you're looking at too much weight on the tail of the trailer and no way to adjust it out to run legal in some states, namely California.

It appears that you also had to deadhead 647 mile to pick up the load, which cuts your per mile rate down to $2.00.
