    I have been under contract passed 3 months and its about to expire and wanted to ask if the spot market rates are really that bad as advertised on DAT?

    Pretty Bad- Brokers are going to get away with a lot of stuff right now- But A lot of Spot shippers are Licking chops too.

    You can Blame Everyone for getting involved in Trucking- Being an Electrician or Carpenter wasn't good enough apparently.

    Bet some of youy Drivers Wont be Here next Year- You'll Be Back Framing Walls-Or Pulling Wire.Which Your Better Off in so many ways

    This is worse than 2008, Because at least then- We were Getting 35-40% surcharges, on $4.78 fuel.

    At least they should Raise the Fuel now, We'll be better off!!!!!!!

    He started off yabbering in broken English about van, not sure he understood me that well. Probably in Syria. I kid you not.

    That's about what the LS board has deteriorated to.

    I'll finish off the 800 mile bounce home as so not to encourage that behavior tomorrow.

    Buddy that runs van in SW Missouri has reflected that is about the going rate right now in general - for van, own authority.
