I have 1996 Pete Eld Exempt but run Keeptrucking AOBRD

    I run Keeptruckin AOBRD for Ifta, log accuracy and IRP reporting. Since I can still use paper logs legally after the eld deadline December 2019 Can I leave it in AOBRD mode??? I asked this question to Keep Truckin but they told me to consult Local DOT. I replied that since Every dot officer has a different interpretation of the law and they were the supposed expert since they have built the hardware and software to be compliant that they should have the answer. No response from them. Can anyone point me to the FMCSA rule on this?

    Im Exempt also- Abnd I run Paper- I Know youd like to keep the conveniences of IFTA tracking and such, But The Cops dont even know what to say.

    Why you cant get straight answers.....

    Id say- Just keep doin what your doin......
