    Nope but my Omnitracs died this morning. Blank screen. Won’t boot up. Going to Thermoking tomorrow. I hate paper logs.

    Yup. Ask him anything. But nowhere in his post did he say he would answer your question. A magic 8 ball does a better job of that.

    Omni tracs is a joke, have been trying to settle a billing dispute with them for a YEAR!!! Every couple of months I get a new account manager that "Will get this straightened out!!!" that lasts about two days then nothing........

    My Omnitracs MCP50 is slower than slow, but at least it has been working fine for last 2-1/2 years. However the enhanced eld parameters downloaded on 10/15/2019 are causing my unit to generate error messages saying it failed diagnostic test due to missing data.
    I've spoken with drivers from other companies using omnitracs and they are having same issues.
    I review my elog and looks like the unit is recording just fine so whats going on?
    How do I explain this to DOT when they see the error message?

    Call OmniTracs. Cause the clown that started this post hasn't replied to a single question on here.

    (Read with sarcasm) I'm sure that is in no way a reflection of their customer service.

    My company had been in communication with them...we have thousands of these devices.

    omnitracs has yet to come through with the fix and I was wondering if anybody else is experiencing this.

    They said they're having some issues with the new enhanced version software.

    it's not like this enhanced ELD is taking anybody buy surprised.....very disappointed with omnitracs.

    the units are pretty pricey and plus you pay $35 a month just for the pleasure of using it.

    Would not recommend them at this point.

    On the other hand.

    In defense of omnitracs the message that I have was generated on the 15th when the s update was downloaded.

    Omnitracs said the message should go away after the 8th day window.

    I'll let you know.

    Maybe I'm just being a little too ornery this morning..... It happens.

    There's a thread about Walmart having this same problem. Our hundred trucks are having the same issue. My Omnitracs crashes at least once a day. I wonder if they started outsourcing their programming to India. This is just completely unacceptable for such a big company and such an important device.
