How to make an emission engine run more reliable

    I don't know who you talked to but dd has a fuel delivery group of engineers that can tell you a lot. Getting a fuel certified by the manufacturer doesn't make sense because the petroleum standards are already there and certifying the fuel by those standards should be all you need.

    I also don't get where you are claiming that the idea that fuels are heated to 180 degrees, the coolant temperature is separate from the fuel temperature, having the water jacket heated to 190 allows the burning of the fuel in the combustion chamber better, but the cooler it is will have an impact on burning the fuel.

    Heck I get up to 999 mpg with my 1+ truck.

    EGR, DPF, SCR, all of the above?

    Yes maxforce failure was mainly due to high temps in exhaust gases,
    This. Cause premature egr cooler failure and piston /liner failure
    I credit navstar as they were only company that actually tried to meet emission standards fully
    The fix to max force besides what's above is exhaust gas need redirected to air to air rad with oil separator then back to egr cooler

    Deletes: a deleted engines don't break down as much because you are not wearing out emission parts which is were most of the damage come from. A deleted engine does not control secondary coolant system valve which increase temp

    Egt's: like all good trolls you try and change or steer the topic away. I stated that an emission engine is more harmful to the environment and global warming due to increased carbon footprint , no where did I say egt's are lower infact I made it clear that those supporting Emission trucks like your self will ONLY look at what comes out of the tail pipe not the total carbon imprint start to finish of a trucks life, you proved my point fully.thanks

    If you want to get your engine fixed under warranty you must use approved fuels only,
    The people making "biodiesel" from info off the internet that have a failure will not get it fixed under warranty as there is strict criteria that dd enforces when it come to using non commercial fuels. All the info about how to make biodiesel on the internet is false it is not true mythelester this is the only type accepted by dd to allow an engine to be fixed under warranty and you are require to prove it.

    Fuel heating by engine: some engines run fuel into the head where it enters the injectors via port in side of injector some have fuel rails , either way the engine transfer heat to the fuel and it turn heats the rest of the fuel when it returns if it did not do this your fuel would gel in cold weather every time you drive down the road and would require all trucks fuel tanks top be insulated and or heated

    Engine efficiency is about. Finding the mean between btu and efficiency is a delicate balance the thinner the diesel the less btu it contains pretty simple you can not expand the fluid without affecting its. Btu count

    Honestly I don't understand all the pop quiz you guys post, thing to make it more about how well I know technical info then weather or not it works
    And again to all in general if you wish to contest my method provide facts , try it out and test it don't slam it because you don't understand how it works. And again a lot of these post show lack of understanding on engines and how they work I question if most of you guys really know anything about this subject. Other wise it means it's propaganda specialist thing to bury this subject which I could care less and getting quite tired of being interigated for offering a fix that works

    When my engine failed after getting overhaul I took it in to get it fixed. It was clear as soon as my engine was opened up I was not using regular diesel as there was not a spec of soot anywhere to be found including the exhaust.
    Dd determined that the rebuilt head installed did not have the Valve guides replaced and were bent prior to re build , because my fuel is so clean it took out all the soot and cause the. Valves to drop was what was told to me, but the fix it and had no issue with my fuel and did not cost me a cent to have fixed.

    My cold 475hp dd will out pull a hot 550hp e everyday of the week

    I was content just reading along in this thread. Until I read the above quote.

    He's real quick to contest everyone else's "method". But has provided zero proof of fact on his. Just words he's typed on a PC or phone. Folks like that used to be known as Snake Oil Salesmen. Provide "proven facts" or move on. Pretty simple.
