I agree FLD's are fairly spartan in the cabs when coming from the luxury of a KW but really not so bad. I have updated stereo system with bluetooth and new speakers as good as any brand new truck. New door seals so no wind noises, very little road noise at all actually. The interior of mine was in excellent condition everything works, nice, tight and not trashed.

Scale 50k and change all day long.
5.3-8.1mpg. Yearly average of 6.2mpg Pulling flat, hopper, van.
Used to manage a towing service. Best thing that ever happened besides the invention of the hydraulic underlift was 04 and later EPA motors.

Pro, you will have a nice tool collection

Con, I can't buy one brand new.

Heard detroit rep brag that the DD15 should go 600k without a rebuild. Had to laugh. 30 years ago guys started seeing a million plus out of a Series 60.

I like that mid roof, perfect height, inside for Me. Being able to stand straight up, has been a necessity for my back issues. Condo of mine is too high. Hard to keep it cool in summer. I’d like to “chop” it. Lol. Nice Truck

You must have upgraded to the Sanden. With a shorter belt, also? Or is that set up original? Looks like there’s an added bolt to the bracket, an I seeing that right. To fix the bracket rocking? I need to address that, bolts keep breaking, I’m sure you know all about that common problem.

I didnt think I would. I like flat tops. But I'm 6' and a can almost stand straight up, and not having a wall behind the seat a guy much taller than me could drive it. Dont think I would wanna go back to a flat top. It's no show truck.

That is a great fld . Funny I was just thinking maybe I needed to try and find a flat top fld that still had all of its air shields and fairings intact. Not easy to find.lol. I'm super jelly!! Looks great.
