Yup, I started flatbed, now I am pulling tankers. I don't think Ill ever go back to flatbed, but I will keep that option open. But I will NEVER pull a dry van.

I picked up a load of diesel for one of the local lumber mills. It was storming, rain mixed with sleet, and a 20 kt wind, just a nasty day all the way around.
I was unloading in the lee of a shop building so I was out of the worst of the weather. I had a thermos full of hot coffee and a sandwich. Across from me were three lumber trucks tarping dry loads of lumber. They were totally exposed to the weather and they were getting hammered. Two of the drivers didn't have rain gear and they were totally soaked.
The wind kept grabbing their tarps and pulling them out of alignment, They didn't even have boots, just tennis shoes.
They were there when I got there and they were there when I left. I didn't get enough rain on me to even notice.
After watching what those lumber guys were going through, and what little I had just done, I got over my bad mood and started liking tankers again.Dna Mach, Mohtrucker and slim shady Thank this. -

Some of the cryo companies used to run hydrogen teams. BOC Gases used to do that, but with all the cryo mergers recently, I don't know who does anymore. Sorry.
