My question is i was in a accident another trucker hit me im on medical leave. Can the company void my lease and take truck if im on medical leave? Been told by them they would. Anyone can point me to any info on laws?

Read your lease..... but I’d say yes they can if you don’t make payments

I could be wrong, but I believe one of the reasons the companies do lease. Is because as a lease THEY own it and can do pretty much whatever they want. As opposed to being a purchase where their are laws that dictate. What they can and cannot do, and how they can do it.

Leases - particularly at the megas - are generally pass through leases. The trucks are leased from the manufacturer, and the lease is passed through the carrier's 3rd party leasing company to the end user. -
If this is a lease purchase and you just owe another month, normally I would say just make the payment, even if you have to borrow the money and get the title in hand.
Now it is pretty hard to go to the bank and borrow 10,000 miles, is there no monetary value for the miles written in your contract?
