I wanted that transit/volume ATM job that would have been sweet! But 2hr commute each way is a bit far.

I just did my third walk of shame to the kitchen and back to refill my bowl with chocolaty goodness. I purchased medically ill advised quantities of candy this weekend at Costco.

Not going to disclose how much or the dollar amount. But it did take me more than one trip to the car and back to get it into the house.

    Don't judge me.

I went ahead and itemized my receipt. I got you by about $8 in candy. We live in one of those cookie cutter neighborhood developments and we get slammed every year with kids.

They had slide of candy off the back of a truck in the isles. It’s a grocery store of candy.

Bob Dobalina and FlaSwampRat Thank this.

That’s gotta be a lot of fun each year right? We get less than two trick or treaters every year to my house:(

    misterG and FlaSwampRat Thank this.

At the rate I am going this year, I may just have to disconnect the doorbell and turn off all the lights. But on average, we get about 500-700 kids.

Odd story, last year someone was raising hell about kids from outside of our HOA coming by to get candy. Many of them were from poorer neighborhoods and some didn't have costumes. Out of all the things to be petty about... Why Scrooge some kid out of candy?

I would fit into that one (the being complained about). I take my daughter to a nice neighborhood being as how we live in the middle of nowhere with 1/2 mile long driveways.

    road_runner and McUzi Thank this.
