It used to be 30 days from the get go, or you had to start it all over. I don't know now. I'm building a small fleet, and they change things constantly.
I will tell you be pro active with your application.
Call every few days. Ask what can you do to speed it along.
Seems like I'm hearing one employment verification a lot.
Ask which one. And call them.

It varies per individual. Figure a couple of weeks. If you stay on top of the process, it definitely helps.
blacklabel Thanks this. -
Most people take two or three months on average. All the really good companies take there time vetting. Apple is just one example. Some of my best jobs were all like that, some I had to go through several interviews. I got Landstar all the info they wanted the same or next day. It still took me almost two months. dont quit your day job.
PS I am no longer with Landstar.Last edited: Oct 29, 2019
I glide 47 and blacklabel Thank this. -
Well I have done 5 loads. 3 of them are missing the 8% for renting and paying for a step. I have called every week. I think I'm going to try UPS. So I won't tarp the next 6 weeks.

Something isn't adding up if you have you're own trailer and not getting the correct %.
That's a blanket thing, not this load or that load. -

In the stepdeck world. It's a separate line 8%. Then a line for $195 a week rent.
