You'd be surprised. a few weeks ago one of their guys was lost and staring at google maps. He ran a stop sign and got tboned by another semi doing 55 and totaled a brand new gfs tractor. hes lucky he didnt get hurt or killed because he wasnt wearing a seat belt and ended up in the passenger seat/ floor board. Also did minor damage to a house that was hit as a result of the collision. he still has a job surprisingly

They want me to do it. I'm unsure. I'm like a woman that can't make up my mind.

No kidding. Had I stayed in Montana, the bug issue would have been a thing of the past. But down here in the South it's beautiful year around but the bugs don't die until December.

My buddy that still works for Reddaway took over my route and we swapped out pictures based on what was infront of our hood. I present below... Butte Montana VS Augusta Georgia. Pics were taken two minutes apart

The bugs die there? What's cold like there during the day?

My good ole Volvo was in the shop so I grabbed one of the higher seniority guys new Pete. That thing shifts sooo smooth with that 12 speed. I could get used to it.

It gets down to the 20's sometimes. Usually mid 30's during the peak of winter. Feels colder than it is due to the high humility. It's a bearable cold but enough to kill anything but ####roaches.

SAIA dropped a rear pup this morning on the RR tracks near our yard. (SAIA, FXF, Reddeway and MME all have yards within a mile of each other)
Drove right off, trailer just sitting on the tracks, no lights, nothing.

Couldn't have gotten very far. He either snapped an airline or two or he lucked out and they did a clean disconnect. Either way, the loss should be setting off the emergency brakes sooner rather than later.
