By law is a license plate bracket required on the back of the tractor? To me it makes no sense to have a bracket on the back!

I never heard of that. A plate on the front was all that was needed. Just don't have it a swingin'! ( got busted for that once)

I don't believe the bracket is, but the license plate late in the back is required last time I checked for it in the green book.

It is if a truck but not a tractor. If the bracket and light is there it must work so just remove them.

Idaho only issues 1 plate for tractor... 2 for straight truck.
