    You got that right nothing safe down here in the oil field not the guard rails not the overpasses and dang sure not the other drivers

    I left. I worked out of Carlsbad for 8 months. Had many close calls on 285 and 128. Saw lots of wrecks and more dead bodies than a man should have to see. We we're still busy when I pulled out in July but the rates were so bad I was only making 1400 a week when I left. At 2500 to 3k a week the risks were worth it to haul oil.
