As long as you have the correct parameters set in copilot.

It never steered me wrong in almost 7 years. I very seldom used my atlas once I got comfortable with copilot.

I think a lot of people's problems with gps's are not having the correct parameters.

Yup. I live in Tamaqua, and those are legal routes. They are curvy and hilly, and one somewhat tough turn in New Ringgold, but otherwise legal and doable.

I tried it a few years ago, but it was garbage. In fact, all of the “truck navigation” apps I have tried have been garbage so far. Trucker Path now charges for theirs, and it’s not even fully developed.

I currently use Google maps (for trip planning) and Rand McNally road atlas to make sure the route is truck approved. Sometimes I need to look for the state’s own truck restrictions map or list for additional information. Rand McNally road atlas will tell you where you can find it.

Allstays, which used to be the most popular truck stop app, has truck restricted lists online. In the link below, select your state, and then select Restricted Routes.

Used it for 7 years. California was the only problem state.
