Yeah you're reaching the limit of the CPU with the new cards. Even on my old RX380, going from a 4670k overclocked to a Ryzen 2600 got me 15 fps in most games with a lower CPU load.

COD Modern Warfare and Red Dead 2 recent triple-A studio releases. I can't believe the SIZE of these games now. 120-150 GB downloads!

Haha yeah I bought a 500gb SD drive cloned windows and than set it up for the newer games and now it's almost filled , geez ! I have a 128 ssd I clear out and I still have a 1 TB fire Cuda I didn't want to use for games but I might have to with updates and patches coming out .
Oh I would get RedDead before COD , Cod is a shotgun and Claymore campfest , it boils down to who can hear foot steps better than the other guy. Whole games of guys in buildings with shotty and claymore , it's crazy. A lot of PC users are suffering with 100% cpu usage causing stuttering. Anyways game on !

I've got everything set up and it's been working well since Monday. I'm considering using it to run Folding@Home as the alternator is working anyway, but I'm not sure how it'll affect the service life. It's a beefy 230A alternator if I recall correctly. The kind designed to charge the 8 batteries of the truck eAPU.

I've got a 10-keyless wireless Corsair K63 and a Logitech G903. For the moment I'm more focused on controller. I got an 8bitdo SN30 Pro+ for that. I'm finding what games work fine and which need some fiddling to get running in Arch.
