Harbor Freight Tools steam cleaner. Fill with distilled water and steam all surfaces inside the truck. Wipe dry with clean paper towels. No chemicals, no fuss. Works great around the house as well, kitchen countertops and bathroom tub/sink/toilet mold and mildew removal without any harsh chemicals breathed in.

Funny. Just did this to mine. I use a can of upholstery cleaner on my seat, worked great on the seatbelt too.

Gotta second this. I don't have a HF one but had a Shark brand one for a long time. That thing would dissolve anything from a car interior, from any surface hard or soft.

This sounds like a no brainer but it's important to mention. After you clean a seatbelt with anything pull the belt ALL the way out and clip something on it where it won't retract. Leave it that way for a weekend or at least a night. Seatbelts stay rolled up all the time and can't breathe or dry, which is why they are prone to getting funky.

My truck was in for repairs once and the mechanic got a great big grease spot on the seat. When I picked the truck up, I mentioned the grease spot, they hit it with brake cleaner and it came right out. So it'll probably work on seatbelts too...

It's work on any surface. I have Volvo and there is freaking hood support brackets every time you check oil level there big chance to have grease on your chest. Napkin under , spray, everything is clean.

I didn’t even know if he was serious. It seems so harsh to use on fabric.

If it worked for you then why not?
