Monsanto is a disreputable company in all it does, wouldn't surprise me if they disregarded your safety, @mhyn . Wonder if a truck wash can clear that residue out. Ad if you do another load, build that cleaning cost into it..

Why cause they got sued ?

 

I have had some bad whiffs of it when putting anhydrous ammonia down for fertilizer when the rope didn't activate the valve, but the worst I have been had by it was using it to kill prairie dogs, came real close to being in the same shoes as that policeman, you can not hold your breath in that stuff.

I occasionally haul pharmaceuticals packaged in dry ice for transport on an airline overseas.
When you open the trailer the carbon dioxide will snatch the breath right out of you unless your prepared for it. It sounds similar to your reaction.....

 

Anhydrous Ammonia.

That stuff is deadly if inhaled. Solid whiff an death is pretty much instant.

They do have a bad reputation in some circles.....I think they are
like any other large company......some good points and some not so
good.
