Starbucks need to please social media may end up costing them a few dollars.

made a visit to a local starbucks this morning. it is now a staple in the monday-morning-on-the-way-to-school routine. with comment to whoever was saying the staff sucks: i don’t know that i’ve ever had anything but average or better service. take today for example - its possible this lady recognizes us now, we go to the same one every time.

rolled up in my lifted 300k mile, no catalytic converter, loud muffler, rusty 97 cherokee that hasn’t been washed since 2016 and completely botched the attempt to order a variant of green tea with some other stuff in it. the lady doesn’t bat an eye, corrects me down to the addition of raspberry syrup and never breaks stride. meanwhile, my daughter is asking how in the world she can even talk to me without laughing her ### off.

also, bear in mind i haven’t had a haircut (or shave) since june. i’m looking like a 70s country music singer.

 

I stopped once on Ohio turnpike , and Starbucks was only one place which was opened. Ended up paying 8$ for large coffee. Have 0 idea , how people can afford 8$ for a cup of coffee....
On another hand I now realizing why all this hipsters want 15$ an hour wage, when you paying 8$ for a cup of coffee, you need to be rich...

 

I am happy with folgers that has been burnt to the bottom of the pot and water reused thru the coffee maker. LOL coffee has one job to do and thats to get me goinG. Never been to starbucka because they dont have coffee. All that stuff sounds like a milkshake

In Starbucks or McDonald's? Cause yeah ,normal fast food charging about 2$ for coffee , can you show me 2$ coffee in Starbucks?
Next time I I will be on turnpike I will make you pictures with pricing

starbucks. it has been a few months but i want to say it was $2.35 or 2.40.

 

Ok, yes it's not regular coffee and not 8$ , BUT 7 bucks for mix of chemicals in a coffee still a more expensive then in McDonald's, or Pilot with Loves.
