And only 5 of those will fit a big rig or allow one to park. I don't go there to much.

Would hate to lose that one. The surrounding scenery is beautiful.

There's a lot of secured parking out there with no fences cut in the back row , how much is your peace of mind worth.
I used to park on K street downtown DC a lot , when i did many demo shows at CNN PENTAGON PBS , and it was cheap , there are many cool places to park and you always got Dan the man @ hotels4truckers.com also one of my fellow tour drivers that had a great idea , im not affiliated with Dan or get paid to put this out there but if you look at his site in a pinch its a awesome back up.

Ok Back on Loves Truckstop Ive been saving my Love's points and I'm up to 275. dollars does anyone else save it up? I wonder who has more then this. I figured when I get to 400 I'll go spend it.I was thinking maybe by a fancy GPS and sell it on E-bay. theres just nothing I need. I get my coffee for free and fill up my water jug and im rolling!

The general public already doesn’t want us around. Adding parking to an existing TS becomes a zoning hurdle. New TS in metropolitan areas are an even bigger hurdle. I believe that P/FJ just got approved for a new one in the Jurupa Valley in California. That was huge mess with the public and the city council voted to open it

If a company had the foresight to give us pricing similar to Walmart in a truck stop they’d make it up in quantity. Drivers would go out of their way to stop.

Laziness and stupidity. Can't do anything about that.

If you put a truckstop every 15 miles that could park 100 trucks each, you would STILL have the same problems/complaints. All the lazy, fat, non trip planning steeringwheelholders would go to the last truckstop to the metro area, and try to cram in. They would use their elogs as an excuse for illegal parking, block each other in and rip each other's hood off.

30 miles away, there would be plenty parking available.

I saved up $800 in Loves points before I went back OTR. I bought a big GPS, CB, and cooler. I've now got my balance back up over $550 in points. I only spend points on "toys", not food.
