I would go back for peak at full rate when I decide to retire. The problem is I don’t know if they will agree to my terms. No phone call before 5am and I have to be off by dinner! Probably won’t be going back.

You realize it isn’t the same old Militant UPS we worked for. It is a friendlier, work life balanced UPS that is Millennial worker friendly. Beards are even ok nowadays. I figured if I gave them a good 6-8 hours I would be set!

I retired 2 years ago and it hadn't changed yet. Maybe the last two years they have really started to circle the drain lol.

depends on what part of the country one lives in, and the cost of living there. up here in New England, that $600 weekly ($120 for say 5 days) is crap money. but where the cost of living, and taxes are lower, it could be very good money

It's a Class-B box truck job and he just finished cdl school. When he moves to Florida he'll be driving Class-A truck. He needs to be home every day, so that's hard to match with everyone with no experience. His pay will double when he moves to Florida.

well, if you're from tampa, then you would know...but it still doesn't mean it's crap money in other parts of the country.

well then, don't apply for the job, someone who needs a job to take care of the family and get the experience will want it.

you'd be surprised how many would take that job.

Yeah, I've lived in Florida. If I moved there again I'd live in Palm Coast.
Foodservice and beverage delivery pay really well in Florida.
