What a fuvking mess. They load that whole stack in one piece, so the straps below those cardboard boxes have to be fished through. Had to sit for 4 hours before they started loading because something wasn’t stacked right. It reminded me of that load I refused last year.

ohhhhhhhhhh i can compete with that. Look at today's 10lbs of crap in a 5lb trailer load. Notice the steel plates at the back too. They bring out the first two sets of plates, then that POS pile of dunnage (really just toss that crap in the dumpster) that's not even banded. (notice the two opposing belly straps to "band it") then after I've got that all tight he brings out the top pieces of steel, which are too long for the spot. FUDGE.

oh yeah, one of those top crates (which were crazy heavy, full of some steel parts for railing or something. I dunno) collapsed into the lower box cuz you know when you put downward pressure on it from the strap.

seriously I want to scream sometimes. IT'S NOT A VAN!!!!!!!!!!

and some fabbed rebar for a preload to finish the day.

Unloaded this mess this morning. Had snowed a few inches, and was about 5 degrees (Fahrenheit). The steel was super slick, and when the forklift operator picked up a bundle of beams they slid off this forks and off the passenger side of the trailer they went. Feel probably 10 feet onto the ground. Luckily no one was on that side, and it didn’t hit the trailer.

they have a couple like that. Mostly stretch's like this. I think to take the weight (since they do a lot of box girders, etc). and since it's already getting longer, doesn't matter much I suppose.
