Last time I drove through Montreal was 14 years ago, the roads were rough then and lots of road construction, particularly overpasses.
My advice on really rough roads, which comes from experience pulling decks, OD and swinging meat, just slow down, forget about time and don't worry what others think.
Turn on the 4 ways, plug in a Stompin Tom or Anne Murray CD, drive smooth and don't worry about everyone else because it's not their equipment. not their load, not their back, f'k em! -
The faster you go, the smoother the bumps get... which explains Montreal drivers.

I've been checking on this, and I reckon the city of Montreal is at the top of the list by some way. For those lucky enough to not go there it really is bad.
As a state though Michigan takes a lot of beating , not as much as the truck takes driving through it though. -
Any street in Laval makes the 40 look like fresh smooth pavement lol

I went through there last week. They're laying down a thin layer of blacktop over the "washboard", so it should be nice for about a week or two....... -
You guys have never been to / lived in Winnipeg before... the roads in Montreal are wonderful!
BigHossVolvo Thanks this.
