I would absolutely not do a delete on your new motor, When you get it back start using this, Max Mileage. It helps burn that soot off, I use it every tank and haven't done a Forced Regen in six mo. You will not have another problem with carbon packing. Also about every two years do this, Diesel Force Comprehensive Maintenance System. I think if you would have had that diesel force cleaning done you might not have needed a rebuild. Good Luck

 

Because that what Cummins makes you do before thy will rebuild it. Its a special oil thy have just for this problem. It cost some unbelievable price like 100 a gallon.

 

Never had this issue under warranty.

The Delete is up to you thats illegal though. XD
My 2014 is being rebuilt this weekend for the same issue. The New APR liners they use fix this issue thats causing the oil usage. You will need a overhaul to fix the oil usage though it will ruin the DPF System..

 

Dont delete if your expecting warranty repairs.
