    No sir.

Mine is a factory ddec4 14L non egr.
    2000 year engine.
Running a tweaked 575hp program from diesel control service.

You can convert a 3 to ddec 4, you need a few more sensors, and harness, and ecm. However internals in a 4 are more strong. Different piston to rod design, and oil cooler are not in ddec 3.

    I'm not a sir.
I guess Fernando can tune up to 3600 rpm tunes, and 1200 hp or something. He seems good at what he does.

Sure anything is possible. Cant see why not.. the only thing on a ddec3 to ddec4 conversion is the wiring.

Phone malk industries or diesel control services to find out what's needed in that department. Those guys are the experts and you'll know for sure then.

For some reason I thought the 3 ecm was different. Well that makes it easy for him then.

I have always been told they were different ecms too. It might be that you could use the ddec 4 engine in a truck that has a ddec 3 and with the 3 ecm, but I don't know how well it would run that way?
