Oregon is the only non-IFTA state, I believe.

Yup youre correct, i thought it was different due to needing to go to NM,KY,NY website instead of the one.

You have to fill out an IRP application and give them supporting documents. Then you have to pay a fee (they estimate how many miles you will drive in each state)- it can be in the thousands sometimes. Then, if you want your plates quickly, you have to send them a prepaid overnight shipping label or they will deliver those plates up to a month later. Upfront costs are killer. Annoying that the company you are working with won't pay....

Oh and also remember- OR, KY, NY & NM need special permits. You pay separate taxes on the miles driven in those states

    Bean Jr. Thanks this.

Before you do anything check our new California law AB5. They are trying to kill off OO’s in California.

Hammer166 and Bean Jr. Thank this.
