From what I understand, you are relieved from duty, and off duty, but it still goes against your 14 hour clock, because you do not do at least 2 hours. I could be wrong, we do not have the 30 minute rule here.
It sounds like just a way to mess up a drivers day and cheat him out of 30 minutes to me. lol

I get a kick out of some of the log threads, and can see why and can understand why e-logs were as easy to make law as they were. I can just imagine going back before loose leaf days and see what guys came up with trying to run 2 or 3 log books. lol
