Should I be on duty or off duty

From what I understand, you are relieved from duty, and off duty, but it still goes against your 14 hour clock, because you do not do at least 2 hours. I could be wrong, we do not have the 30 minute rule here.
It sounds like just a way to mess up a drivers day and cheat him out of 30 minutes to me. lol

 

Yes u are right the 30 minute break is a scam lol but this guy was saying that when u log off duty u are not releived from ur duties. Which if ur not relieved from ur duties then u should log on duty... It is like clocking out for a lunch break at a regular job, u are relieved from ur duties at the job until u get back from lunch and clock back in.... Dont know why truck drivers make things so complicated lol

 

I get a kick out of some of the log threads, and can see why and can understand why e-logs were as easy to make law as they were. I can just imagine going back before loose leaf days and see what guys came up with trying to run 2 or 3 log books. lol

 

Me either, at least if I did the statue of limitations has expired. lol

 

Just how many rich old truckers do you know?? lol

 

Some parts of the good old days were better, but then we would probably have to drive stuff that no one would even drive anymore. lol
