There are a few violations they won't work down that may be one.

That driving under suspension is going to be the killer for most companies, insurance is going to red flag that quick, raises many eyebrows fast.

Oh for the old days... Get 3 tickets in MS, gonna be suspended. Hit the AR scales at West Memphis and while the man was sticking your tanks with a coat hanger to calculate the "import" fuel tax, you would just
just casually mention that you were going to be moving to Rte 2, Searcy, AR next month, and what did you need to do about getting you license changed. Most helpful man would go inside, copy your name onto a little yellow pad of licenses, insert your address to be,collect the $5.00, tear it off and away you went.
Found them to be valid in Connecticut four weeks later. MS also had paper licenses then.
Most southern states was 45, we usually ran 50 to 58. Not really burning the roads up, but legally excessive. North out of Bakersfield in 57 I discovered CA had a 45 limit also. Warned. Pore boy a long way from home...LOL.

I'd be hitting the quarries (if there are any around you). Walk in with your dl and med card and ask them what dump truckers are looking for drivers. Help ya get Beck on your feet until some time passes.

I haven't read this entire thread but Chinatown mentioned one of the company's that i work for. So i can personally vouch for climate express. They hire from your area and they are real good for giving people 2nd chances. I make 60k a yr or so. Good equipment. Really nice people. It's up to you but I'd give em a call.

Something tells me that you have something working against you besides the two violations.
How much driving experience do you have?
Do you have a treasure trove of violations that were not oos violations?

Tx Countryboy and FlaSwampRat Thank this.

Ok well it's definitely not local work but it's a job. Talk to Karen in recruiting. If she can get you hired i know she'll do everything possible to make it happen. They hired me after i was out of a truck for 3yrs and had just gotten my cdl back after it had expired 2yrs before.

    FlaSwampRat Thanks this.

Depending on how desperate he is, he could go back to Memphis and run an Amazon van or see if he can get a 2nd seat on a package car with UPS. Holidays are busy.
