What truck stops are quickest to get in and out of? Big stops (TA, Loves, etc) or Mom n' Pops?

    truckdriver31 Thanks this.

The ones that aren’t listed on truckerpath tend to be quieter ones. Or the mom and pops in the Midwest plains are less of a headache problem is some aren’t 24/7 and close their restrooms for the night.

To be quick in and quick out of any of them is to plan your trips so you can park very early and start driving very early.
Especially the further east you go, and on the west coast, and the deep south.

It does not matter really. Even Wolcott IA overflows sometimes. And they have a mile of pavement to put a semi.

Location time and so on. If it's sunday afternoon into evening on say I-81, I-40 and I-30 you can pretty much forget parking in one unless you know of some very small quiet out of the way spots Keyword being quiet. No one else knows about it.

    D.Tibbitt and truckdriver31 Thank this.

Yeah I’ve seen i80 jam packed. Still got a spot but usually it’s easy to park.

    D.Tibbitt, x1Heavy and truckdriver31 Thank this.

Anyplace that doesn't have more than 5 or 6 stores should be alright. They'll probably be gravel lots, though, and full of potholes. I've taken to using rest areas instead of fuel stops. There's almost never a line for the crapper in the morning and there's less chance my hood will be ripped off by some Richard head that cant back up.

Drive the right hours and you’ll never find a busy truck stop..

I’ve found it’s best to avoid anyplace the mega fleets use..

Less chaos that way and your hood is much safer..
