So I picked up a load of Frozen food stuff yesterday for delivery to a Walmart DC. It appears that a pallet of frozen cheese pizzas was on my truck that wasn't on the order. So as I'm checking out the shipping manager says to me that I should probably keep my reefer running because they had to leave a pallet on my truck that they didn't want, and it was up to me to dispose of it. I'm thinking, oh that's just great. I climb up in my trailer to find 18 cases of large DiGiorno frozen cheese pizzas. I've never had this happen before, and normally it would be cool if the product wasn't frozen, but what the heck can I do with an entire pallet of frozen pizza? I doubt if a food bank will take frozen goods. Maybe an ad on Craigslist selling them for $2.00 a piece?

you contact the shipper, agent, company, broker first. its there product, order and their problem. if you take it before its released and a claim is filed. thats on you bro. after all that is done. they will tell you to donate it or trash it.

if a claim hasnt been filed with the above. it is. cause the rec said they didnt want it. doesnt mean you can do what ever. there is a process on food claims.

The product was cleared before I left the facility by the shipper and broker. They dumped it in my lap, Bro.

do you have the message or paperwork to prove they claimed the pallet. if so then trash it or donate it. your asking for trouble trying to sell it.

    FlaSwampRat Thanks this.

Yeah, otherwise I wouldn't have left the facility with it.
