What is a good fuel card to use for a guy that hauls local/in state in AZ? I have read that NASTC is a good card but I would have to fuel at TA/Petro, which are well outside the city and I don't always get out that far. The big guys are usually within the areas I run:
    P/FJ
    Love's
    Quick Trip
There's a few mom & pop's if you will, but not in my normal running area. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

See if fuelman might work for you.

It allows us to fuel at locals. Chevron, maverick,.holiday oil Besides the truckstops. Maverick being way cheaper then truckstops.

Nastc is a decent fuel card, but the discount is really only about.07-.15 cpg off the nearest cash price.
Also unless you’re leased on to a carrier you will have to attend their seminar or sign up for the safety program to get the card. It’s $38 a month for the safety program.

If your near a small town I would ask a good local fuel station and tell them you will buy 90% of your fuel from them at a discount and maybe you both will come out ahead. I myself have nastc and it's a good card. Never had to attend any seminars, I have 1 truck and I'm the only user on my card. You can download there app and see were there cards are excepted. Best of luck to you.

NASTC doesn’t have any fuel stops in Phoenix. There may have been some in the past when Speedway was in their network. By the way, you do not need to attend a seminar to use NASTC anymore. You will be required to pay for some safety program though. It’s best to give them a call in case anything has changed about their program.

For independent owner operators, NASTC or RTS are some of the best deals out there. If you’re leased to a mega carrier, your fuel discounts should be better. Plus, fueling with the mega carrier fuel card helps make IFTA processing easier. Otherwise you would have to email your fuel receipts to your mega carrier.
