x1 will be along shortly since he's been tagged.
He's home on medical leave, so he'll likely be able to delve into the repercussions of citations deeper than a lot of us can bc we are either working, driving, or needing to be going to sleep.

If you ever need job placement info, our resident guru is @Chinatown

He is phenomenal in his research.

    That's 100% true for 99% of us.
Some guys, though, let things pile up and that number gets so high that they become unemployable.

It's really a risk assessment scale, but it's really weighted very heavily and unfairly tarnishes for miniscule infractions.

    Thanks my friend!

You say medical leave, wow that no fun. Hope he gets well soon. So I assume hes either professional on regulations and the legality of different trucking scenarios etc. Probably none of my business, but is @x1Heavy like a DOT officer or someone that works in the Safety and compliance area at a trucking outfit or maybe law firm?
Nice to meet you @Chinatown hopefully I can gain some insight here from some of you.
    Thanks

It was a citation, not s warning, my mistake, I had to certify repairs and fax it back.It wasn’t OOS, that’s my main concern. Other minor stuff , not a big deal.

I’m the same way, never delved into the csa points system. It’s all a bunch of crap. Not worth worrying about.

Just fine, I’m pretty sure. Haven’t seen it yet, Can they charge court costs even though I don’t go to Court? As far as I know it’s only $25

    Dave_in_AZ and truckdriver31 Thank this.

How many points do I need to get, and what do I win? Points Points, When I die, I want all my points I have accumulated to be listed and added to my permanent record from grade school.
