Aw, come on, picking on 4 wheelers is like fishing in a barrel. We laugh, but who knows, could have been an emergency, not everybody is an idiot.

First off...a pilot car operator that puts his stop sign out the window is NOT doing his / her job.
Boots on the ground is the only time that you have to obey the sign of a pilot car...holding it out the window is plain laziness and basically means nothing - in BC - ONLY THE RCMP CAN STOP TRAFFIC LEGALLY.
If you don't stop for a pilot car in AB with the pilot that is out of the vehicle - stop sign / flag or lightwand in hand directing traffic - the tickets are " failing to obey a traffic control device with an undue care & attention tacked on for good measure with points.
I took time off from the highway to run pilot car when the patch was booming and my dash cam footage of idiots driving past my stopsign resulted in three drivers being issued said tickets after RCMP reviewed the footage.
Basically if the pilot is not out of the vehicle to control traffic with a sign / flag - it means nothing.
Same as the pilot cars I see with the stop sign that flips out from the side like a schoolbus - means nothing.Coffey, stillwurkin, FlaSwampRat and 1 other person Thank this. -
