I used to deliver hospital furniture and was frustrated with the day. A fella said something that made me realize I didn’t know what a bad day was. He said “up on the 7th floor a child is dying of cancer and you think you’re having a bad day?”

Tequila...makes everything better, an if not, at lest your drunk as hell an only worried about puking on yourself or peeing on someone.
I could put some kind of uplifting, inspiring, happy happy joy joy quote but instead...
Laughter, it's a good way of getting the stink of a bad day/week off of you. Otherwise, you just damage yourself stressing an fussing. No good will come of it. Strokes, ulcers, screw all that. You can't smoke a joint, so laugh. At lest that's legal.
If you do fire yourself, make sure you give yourself a good review so you can be hired back.
Sirscrapntruckalot - Laughing an hiccups suck if your the person with the hiccups. Very funny if your not.mp4694330, Rideandrepair, fordconvert and 12 others Thank this. -
Hmm, was that your driver that posted the "black ice" video? If it's any consolation, I found being an O/O is one crushing defeat after another. It's why the truck papers are as thick as a Bible these days. Good luck, pal.

I’ve never made enough $ on a “good” week......to make up for a week like OP had.

Do yourself a favor, get rid of everything and just drive one truck YOURSELF. With the drivers today, I wouldn't let them take my pickup out. Used to be, throw a farmer in the truck, GUARANTEED, it would come back in one piece. Might not be 1st one back, but they had an understanding of equipment, 1st hand, not some pretty boy who can't land any other job. Really, in this day and age, you're foolish for putting up with that. Nobody but me drove my trucks and that was 20 years ago.

Gotta admit though, the good days outnumber the bad and it's never boring no matter what's happening.
The calls I always hated were the ones from hospitals, the CHP, or a towing company. There haven't been very many of them but they sure stand out in my mind.FlaSwampRat, Rideandrepair, Sirscrapntruckalot and 2 others Thank this. -
Tequila might not be the answer, but it’s worth a shot! lol. Saw that the other day. Thanks everyone for the responses and support.
