Nothing more aggravating than constant screw up with payroll.. Which illustrates they have some seriously incompetent people and pay roll department or the company is skimming money..... And hoping many don't catch it.

It's good to see that everyone else loves the new ELD garbage as much as I do.

One funny thing happened today that I see as the future of interstate driving.

There was an accident 4 Miles up the road and traffic was in slow mode for those 4 entire miles and coincidentally both lanes rolled for almost the entire 4 Miles at about 3-5mph so that I could conveniently keep myself off duty for almost an entire hour and every other truck around me in front of me in back etc rolled on at that same speed.

it's a combination of screwed up programming, a different pay system, and incompetence. This week's screwup was because of Moore's variable cpm...with van/rolling rack loads, we make $0.59/mi, but on open deck we get our regular cpm based on experience. So, I pulled an empty double drop out of Miami and picked up a rolling rack to Canada. Their system isn't programmed to pay 2 different cpm's on the same load, and Wylie pays empty miles headed to pick up the load instead of after delivery like Moore...so it paid the loaded van cpm for all miles. That's where the programming needs fixed. So now, on loads like that, I have to remind my DM about it so he notes it in the system so payroll pays it right...some how.

Well, I am in Owatonna for an 8 pm delivery tonight, then head to Ottawa IL to pick up a preloaded trailer going back to Canada. This time I am headed 2 hours east of Quebec City for Tuesday, and....it is suppose to ice and snow on Mon and Mon night.

$50 for van, $100 for open deck. Not sure why the difference because you have to provide the same paperwork to the same customs agent...but that's just the way they do it.

Guaranteed they're going to be "fixing" that problem for you shortly and whatever the fix is will end up being at a lower fixed rate.

After leaving Orlando on Thursday going to Laurinburg I was hoping for an Owatonna weekend load but instead I got sent to the Bronx.

    I'm so excited. :angryfire:

Only if they want a Mack shoved so far up their ### that the bulldog will be sticking out of their mouth. I have had about all the cheapass Wylie I can stand. Been a bunch of missing rope on double drop tarps lately that I have had to relace. I am running low on my spool of rope, so I went to get a replacement spool in Spring Hill...nope, don't have any and won't be getting any for a while. They won't allow the shops to buy more than 2 sets of filters for services, won't allow them to buy bulk washer fluid in the big tote(only allow them to buy 25 cases of jug fluid at a time, and can't order any until they are down to the last few cases), and now they are limiting the purchase of rope to secure the tarps...now I see why that Wylie driver drove that double drop from Spring Hill to Owatonna without securing the tarp, it probably had missing rope and they didn't have any and he was sick of their cheap b.s.
