Threads been slow lately. I never have much to say but have always appreciated the conversation here.
Since I'm useless at conversations I'll just post some truck pics from yesterday in Utah. lol

 

Question. My first stop on this load was five cases short. What do I do with the 0S and D number I get?

 

Write it on the BOL that has the shortage.

 

Heard a rumor y’all got a bunch of new KW’s in, but no one wants them. What’s wrong with them?

 

Nobody wants them because those new KWs are shop babies. They have all kinds of issues with them.

 

Was at home terminal today, counted 75 new 680's. There were probably another 10-12 behind shop and inside shop. They are only buying these now as the last batch of Cascadias have had many problems I was told.
Also, they are apparently now offering new trucks to those in orientation. Shannon from upstairs told me the KW's have been far less problematic than the FL's.

 

These new 680's are nice! Drivers have told me that the four air bag equipped steer axle makes for a very smooth ride. I've never driven one so I can't speak for that or their reliability.

 

And yet I'm seeing new KW's with B and C in the truck number all the time at the Ft Worth yard. I've only seen one 2020 Cascadia and it had the camera mirror system on it.
