Make sure whoever does your DOT Physical now is currently on the National Registry. Most all are. Then once you pass, make sure you put it on your license with your DMV

 

You can physically take it in there, both the long form and the medical card and tell them you need to add it to your license. Basically they put it in your electronic file so when any law enforcement officer runs your license it shows current. There are some states, not sure how many, but you can upload your own documents without going into a DMV

 

If a Law Enforcement Officer runs your license and your Medical Card is not on there, you can get write up and a DOT violation and possibly have your CDL driving privilege revoked/ out service until it is updated.

Agreed, avoid Concentra, add it to CDL at DMV, in person. It’s called “ Self Certification” Physical must be on file, with Pa. Or you will lose CDL. I don’t think carrying a copy is required anymore. I do anyway, just in case, Pa. likes to make up their own rules, especially when it comes to Personal Conveyance, It’s besides the point, but don’t count on using it, they’ve got Me 2 times on, both times I know I was legal, yet got shut down. Once bobtail on a Sunday. Locals are the worst. I don’t even run ther very much anymore, if I do it’s between 5 pm and 5 am if possible.I suggest a hidden body cam, and a Lawyer if needed. Lol
