Yes the ecm still has fuel running through it, I was wondering if the truck ecm could be bypassed with out hurting it.. so tomorrow I’ll bypass ecm fuel lines, make a New return line that goes straight to tank.

    Oxbow and swaan Thank this.

Sorry bud. I know what it's like chasing a problem and just cant get it rectified. Feels like your just chasing your tail.

I did have a friend with a 1lw that had a studder ruff running under load. His turned out being the ECM
The injector drivers in ecm were getting weak . New ecm fixed his engine.

I was bobtailing when I did that. I would never ever do that loaded. I’m regularly 120-280k. I couldn’t even tell you the last time I was legal weight. I even had a custom radiator built to handle the loads and hills in my area. I have the T800 wide noise which has a big inter cooler and radiator stock.

Is there a tee fitting on return line where the lines split going to tanks ? If it looks like a square valve tee with four little screws in it replace it as well. There is a butterfly flap in there that can get plugged with debri from old lines. That can cause high fuel pressure.

The wiring on the truck is a joke, but it’s extremely expensive to buy a true heavy haul spec truck and this was all I could afford. Looking back should have just took the chance and got a new truck. I don’t use broker all my business is direct to customer. I’m realizing it’s a game of luck

my truck only has one tank... the fuel turning isn’t hot, also the fuel going into the filter housing/fuel regulator isn’t extremely hot. The truck runs the same cold or hot. But I’m trying anything. Have a 2k load Tuesday 160k lbs and it’s my best customer

Do us a favor wipe off the barrel of each injector and re pic them. It looks like a couple of them are not seating in the seats of the head. Two thing are going on. Fuel restriction causing to high of fuel pressure and your cooking the fuel. Or the seats in the head are not right. And yes it should be covered by your warrenty. I quit buying heads from cat. I use an aftermarket head with great results.

Thanks again for the guidance if you think of anyone else please let me know. Tomorrow is D day for me. Otherwise I’m running it till it blows
ill pull the injectors tomorrow and take photos of the seats. I also noticed one seem to not be seating correctly. The rest I can see the wear ring from the seat. Could the seat be causing the high fuel pressure? Also causing the hot fuel temps?! I just want you to solve this even if I get rid of this truck. The machinist guy on this forum just text me.. Thank you for taking the time

When you do the return lines you still have to run it through the fuel filter body to utilize the check valve. Just so there is no confusion on bypassing the ecm.
