I'm not sure if i should post this here or in the team driver section? I've been more or less out of a truck for a year. Got my CDL in early 09' (NTTS, Buffalo NY). After graduating i got a gig with Shaffer and did OTR for a year. Did some local work then oilfield sand hauler since 2011. I have a clean license, 1 "fix it" ticket(rubbing brake hose) from Texas DPS and it wasn't even reported. No DWI's ever, never failed a drug test, and never fired from a job. I'm clean and i shower every day and i keep a clean truck. Not all is good though, i HATE NYC and i feel dirty when i get near California. I really don't care for big box companies or their drama, i would prefer small or smaller medium size companies. I don't want to spend weeks/months on the road anymore. Out for 2 or 2 1/2 weeks then home for 3 or 4 days would be fine, but i can adjust that for a good gig. I'm in upstate NY a few miles from the Pilot on I86 exit 37. If i could find something back and forth from Buffalo or Rochester to Elpaso or Laredo or something along those lines would be great. Am i asking to much or should i just go solo?

Not sure if they hire where you live, but well worth a phone call.

IF you are near the NY Thruway, you have the option to run full 48 foot doubles. Two full sized trailers only on the turnpike. You have property set aside strictly for you to assemble or break apart the sets. If you don't want to stray too far or be out too much that might be perfect for you.
