Ever come off the highway and feel 45 mph is "really slow"? Once in an airplane traveling at a constant speed and altitude you will not "feel" your motion without some kind of external frame of reference.

The math on the size of the various planets and their orbits checks out. You can do it yourself with very little time or money. Or you can listen to the CRE is great youtubers.

Oh, you still haven't told me how latitude and longitude work in a flat earth model.

 

I’m speechless. How old are you? Seriously. Give it 10 years, and reread what you just posted. There are so many errors in your thinking, and I wouldn’t know where to start. You may have not noticed it, but I’ve been very patient with you. In the background I’m almost tearing my hair out.

Anyway, flawed thinking can be remedied by reading a textbook on psychology, critical thinking, and philosophy. That should serve as a good foundation. I’ll try to respond to some of the comments.

 

There are probably hundreds of those high altitude balloon videos on YouTube now. It turns out they’re unnecessary because we already have many satellites orbiting earth taking not only pictures, but also videos that you can watch right now live on YouTube. Then we also have astronauts on space stations who have already posted videos on YouTube as well. These videos cannot be faked. There are people today who professionally investigate videos for fakery. They should be able to confirm that the videos are real.

 

You're frustrated because I cannot feel the Earth move? Are you also frustrated that water doesn't have curvature?

 

I have zero interest in explaining latitude and longitudinal lines. Sorry.

 

The point is they work. The only way the work is if the earth is a globe.

 

All you have to do is put latitudinal and longitudinal lines over a globe and, voila! You have accurate points of location. Not too difficult.

So are you going to observe the moon with a telescope to figure out its shape and whether or not it emits its own light? It can’t be that hard for a human being to figure it out in the 21st century and with all the technology at our disposal. Some brilliant humans figured it out hundreds of years ago using geometry and also by creating telescopes.
