Took the family to Disney World years ago and never do that again.
Weird people there.
Too many adults with no children, hanging around. What's the deal with that?
Too many adults acting like 6 yr. old's.x1Heavy and FlaSwampRat Thank this. -

I have NEVER been to disneyworld in my lifetime. Never.
And I wont go either.
My idea of fun is going to the Air Museum in Polk City Florida. Spend a day with the staff soaking in their stories about the real world B17 they keep on display. Its a smithsonian quality living history no #### aviation museum. I hear they just finished cranking a Spitfire from the actual ww2 battle of britan that has been sitting untouched for 16 freaking years. But they cranked the #### thing almost ready to fly it. THATS awesome.
You are not going to find me anywhere near Disney world. I don't mind taking the nephews and nieces to Ocean City and make a day of it for them with their parents and our own parents. Make memories for them. But I have no interest in disneyworld. Certainly not at my age.
The last time I checked pricing out of curiosity shocked me profound. How in the world people pay that much for a bit of parktime is beyond me. I don't feel like I am missing out at all.
And then to learn about these creeps abusing the poor young girls who probably love the children to pieces in their assigned roles working there? I just as soon shoot the creep myself. But no that would be too easy.

I went once when I was too young to remember with my family. We are considering taking our two young grandsons but am having second thoughts because of the grown up weirdos with no kids and also the lines.
Yes my sister in law and her husband are indeed weird, and I think they are liberals on the down low.x1Heavy, FlaSwampRat and Chinatown Thank this. -

I'd say Disney is a 3x in a lifetime trip. There's just too much to see in one trip. Ideally you go when you're young and you can loose yourself in the make believe. Maybe one more time when you can really "go with a plan", see things you missed the first time, maybe some hot ride/event you're willing to put up with the lines for, maybe splurge on dinner in one of the theme restaurants, or Epcot. Finally you'll go another time as a parent.
Some go more, obviously and some never go. I think I've been 4 times now in 45 years. Once as a baby with my grandparents, once with my dad, and another time with my mom in my pre-teens, then finally with my wife & son a few years ago. (Wife had never been, obviously neither had my son) I tried to wrangle a trip for both my son and my nephew this year but I couldn't make it happen. Both are pre-teens now so I'd really like them to have the experience together. Disney isn't really for teenagers, they'd find it boring or wait on really long lines for the "fun" rides. (Which are never really worth it.)
(Must have been Jasmine, none of the other Princesses wear particularly skimpy outfits.) -
