    That Shell is on the northbound side of the highway. 395 there is a four lane divided highway. The truck pulling out going northbound would not have been near the southbound lanes.

    Don't know why you guys think the article is wrong. Four lane divided highway in that section and the Shell gas station is on the Northbound side

    Your right. I made a boo boo. When I first viewed those crash photos, it looked like the Honda had to have impacted the truck's trailer from the front of the truck. But yeah, I see what you're saying now.
