Half those idiots can't drive for ####. Some of the biggest threats to public safety on the highways in Alberta from my experience.spyder7723 Thanks this. -
Also the lack of drug testing in Canada, the booze, drugs and general "condition" of some of there people is mind blowing. I ran articulated haul truck at a couple big sites in Calgary, a couple summers, and the gravel truck drivers were worse than the dirt monkeys lol.Canadianhauler21 and AModelCat Thank this. -
Tazziee left challenger in BC because of slow work I believe. @TheStopSignGuy still works at challenger out of Cambridge but he's pretty fed up.
I left mostly due to miles/crappy east coast runs. I don't think there's anywhere that's safe right now.
Best bet for OP is just keep looking, I'm unfamiliar with western markets so I can't put in any feedback there.TheStopSignGuy and BigHossVolvo Thank this. -

There's plenty of BC (Lower Mainland) companies hiring. Check out the government job boards. No experience needed. Team work. Yeah that's right, you can have your new license for one day and they'll let you drive a truck that's 80k gross, or some will even let you ride 145k down the big grades in BC. The only catch is you better know how to speak another language, and be willing to be a slave.
