Just had a disturbing thought about electronic logging devices the other day.

They already got your engine .
You better lock the motel room door because they know where you are.

Apparently whoever you told you had that high dollar load were inside their circle.
That's why you tell them it was a sealed load & you don't know what's in the box.

Im trying to be polite here, but it's becoming harder and harder.
Do you honestly think the United States of America is going to allow any tracking whatsoever of ammunition and any other military shipments movements or anything else?
Bad question ... Obviously you do.
Not gonna happen. .. Now stop smoking crack and let your disturbingly elevated paranoia levels drop.

Don't worry, they already know what they want to know directly from the source.

Do you guys have any idea how many companies use the internet and have virtually open systems where hackers never get detected?

While I don't share Farmers concern with tracking the military shipments, The many ELD companies do sell info from the ELD customers. Read this article from Overdrive.
A gold rush for ELD data

I agree.....and OP should not drink anything with alcohol. I hope nobody from his company is on TTR. They may send him for a drug test

Yep. Add the information from trucker path. I envision the use of the software would be used to virus and shutdown the trucks. Think how blindly we/consumers just hit the update or have auto update turned on.

Along with the software virus. Troops will be in containers at every port seaport and inland ports. Then the satellites will be disabled.

Americans are foolish for buying from our adversaries and building their nation's wealth not ours.

I don't trust any foreign made, owned software companies.

Now if you will excuse me, I need to upgrade my Faraday cage around my house and make a new foil hat.
