I'll second this. The Pete's are kinda like the Ford Mustang. Nothing wrong with either of them by the way. But everyone has one. And they all have some doodads on them to customize them. But at the end of the day, they look like any other Pete 379.shmuck359, Tx Countryboy, Oxbow and 2 others Thank this. -

I forgot to put in my post that I would NOT choose the Peterbilt, in case you couldn't tell, LOL.
But on a completely and totally serious note, I really can't believe that Peterbilt trucks have those kinds of problems.
If I were to ask someone why would you pay such an outrageous amount of money for a truck and such an outrageous amount of money for parts, the answer will always be because Peterbilt is the best made truck. I have never believed that, but that is always the answer that you will get.
And, again, I'm being sincere about this. It is staggering to me that those trucks have those kinds of problems, because most of them are basic fundamental things that should just work on any truck that you have, let alone the supposed best made truck. That is just unbelievable that they are so poorly designed and engineered.
And everyone can like what they like, that's cool I get that. But if I was going to spend an outrageous amount of money so that I can have something that's supposed to be the very very best top of the line best of the best, if it had the kind of problems those trucks have, I would feel ripped off.
If you read my post, you know what it sounds like to me...LOL
But being completely serious, I don't know why anyone would want one even if they cost the same as any other truck, let alone at an insanely expensive price.
It's okay, you don't have to explain it to me. To me that's just common sense, and I don't think it's something that I will ever understand.
But if you enjoy it for whatever reason I'm happy for you.Last edited: Nov 23, 2019
