I'm guilty of doing a lot of things I probably shouldn't, but lying isn't one of them.

Sounds like you have some decisions to make. Decide what you want to do, where you want to live, and how big of a paycheck you need. Don't focus on cpm, focus on your annual income. $0.47/mile, doing something that you're not happy doing, may not be as good as $0.32/mile, doing what you like to do and living where you want to live.

Find a carrier that's out of business and the phone is disconnected. Say you worked for them. No way to verify that. Start trolling safersys and trying numbers!

The last job I had 2010 I used loose leaf logs .40 mile 1000 week and I use to get bonses for perfic logs . I started to run leagly and they my pay went from 1000 to 400 week . What happens when you fill out an application and check off you were subjected to a fmcsa physical or drug test for a so and so company but were not to say you have had previous experience driving ?

Frankly Ive been off road a long time however the experience is there. Just rusty and can be updated in a hell of a hurry.

.50 is considered training pay today minimum OTR 0.34 is 40 years ago and is for suckers who don't know better.

Many companies pay a form of salary. Usually a thousand a week. Thats twice what I made half a given year on short miles long miles or no miles.

I have two standing jobs that are open to me and two additional companies that are friendly so 4 possibilities. Using me as a example anything is possible provided the medical side is taken care of properly. We are working on that.

However. OTR trucking is less attractive than it has ever been, micromanagement, ELD, nanny dispatchers, drones, trucks that are filled with alarms and worse collision braking systems for winter.. (Enjoy it on ice...) and so on. It would have to be something else to find a company running older iron that would make me happy. No infacing cameras (And I bring my own...) and so forth.

Im too set in my ways. If I don;t go back out? thats ok. I'll find other things to do in life. Unfortunately I'll die a trucker. It's what I have always been.

I just a few months ago signed a new lease, and for my pryor employment just put onthere that I had run for myself for the past 10 years, who are they going to call and verify anything with?? They just have to verify you were employed there, they do not check dot records and everything about you, it would take a lot of time to do all that.

Social Security will have all that earnings history from whom and when down to the penny.

When they pulled that off the printer they contained some employers I rather not talk about that I never reported anywhere. But when a employer pay me wages, they report to SS and so there it is.

To wit there are a few employers that I did not stay long enough (Example less than two weeks) for it to really matter to the next employer. They don't check that deep. And finally too many go out of business. Sometimes taking all the bad history with them. It never happened. There is no one to call and check.

People with strong morals and ethics don't lie in an honest transaction. It builds good character and benefits you more than anyone else to be honest. If the company has been honest with you then be honest with them and if they won't pay you what you're worth then move on.

Going to guess he got hired on somewhere or his gap just went from 5 to 10 years.
