I have had a class B cdl for about 5 years. I got it in anticipation of needing it, but never used it until winter before last when I delivered propane off a bobtail. I have kept up with medical card ever since I got it, just in case.

On the PSP I listed the three states I have had that CDL in over the last five years and that is about all it shows.

I am planning to go OTR because that seems to me to be about the only way to get the experience that local jobs want.

Falling asleep at the wheel is usually traced back to one simple problem of non CDL type driving.
Have you ever driven too long and pulled into a rest area and taken a nap while still sitting in the drivers seat? I am going to bet you have.
When you did this, you created a subconscious thought in your brain that it is ok to fall asleep behind the steering wheel. Why do I know about this. Yep I did it as well. Tho thankfully I had a trainer whom taught me how to get out of the habbit. The trick is, in the future when you get tired? Get out of the driver seat and take your nap in the passenger seat. Get your body out of the habbit of feeling that it is ok to sleep behind the steering wheel.
