Just did inframe rebuild on c15 cat .
Before inframe truck ran great burned 1 gal every oil change 12000 miles.

Truck started to blow smoke white when starting thats it.
took to shop decided to do inframe had 900+ miles so why not. now im burning 2 gals every 4 weeks and still blows white on start up did i get riped off or what.

I thought a CAT you had to break in a specific way to seat the rings properly.

Top rings are not seated. Gotta get them egt's up. Look up adept ape youtube channel. Hes got a good vid on breaking in cat. Albeit he does it on a dyno you can do it on the road
