I bought my first set of battery powered led lights several years ago when I had a 17 wide going north. I loaded in north pole and turned them on. It was 40 below at the time, it was less than 20 miles to the scales and when I pulled in they were just a dull glow. I left the scale and stopped at hilltop, 5 miles down the road and they were off not even a glow. lol
I pulled them off and threw them in the passenger floorboard, and got about 10 miles down the road and they were all burning bright again. lol
Magnetic, battery operated, wide load clearance lights. What's good?

Right before I gave up hauling steel I had to deliver some long bridge beams at night. Permit required lights on the overhang(probably 20 ft or more) Our maintenance man came up with some pretty slick LED lights on a string just like Christmas lights. I was really impressed with them, wish I had taken a picture...or knew something more about them...

Just got some of these and made one 900 mile trip with them with a 10.6 wide load That’s unpainted metal with surface rust so it’s hard to see
We Run daylight and at night where allowed .
Happy with them so far, they are bright enough even in daylight and have a setting to dim
Don’t know how long they will run on a charge , but They were activated for 16 hours total, maybe more counting the time we were waiting out the curfews.
Runnin them in the daylight was a surprise , it seemed the other traffic gave us a little more space ,
As if they never saw the 4” LED strobes on the back bumper of the trailer or the beacons on top of the headache rack
only thing I don’t like is you can’t get a yellow / red combo
If you want both colors you gotta buy two lights , or get the white / yellow light and put the transparent red tape over the white
it has a good magnet but we use zip ties Also (our loads usually have a lot of holes in them
I’m going to make a nylon harness to slip over the light and bungee to the load
sorry, I can’t post a video
The client doesn’t allow us to photograph or video the cargo ,
Every one else on the road can, but company employees can not .

These seem bright for the size , but you’d have to make your own battery pack -
Loves sells little round reds. Can also be found at home depot.
They lasted as long as the 4 inch rectangles they also sell. Battery wise.
Use your points.
