Exhaust manifold leak violation?

Not sure if it's a violation, but it's not good. You're losing some power as exhaust pressure turns your turbo. And there's a better chance the fumes will get into the cab. Which could kill you depending on the situation. Best to bite the bullet and get it fixed. Then there's no worries.

 

if it allows exhaust into to cab, what do you think..???

have it checked out for either a cracked manifold, or blown gasket, and get it fixed?

Tape the beguezus out of the dog box along the seams until you get it fixed. It wont stop an OOS, but it can delay you breathing in the fumes.

 

Newer trucks that will mess up the emission system too.

 

Turn that cab into a gas chamber. Wonderful. You wont even know you are dead. Maybe 15 minutes if it is all closed up in there.

Thats OOS to me. Fix before sending out with anyone on anything.

 

2010 prostar losing power. Everything was fine until I replaced the crankcase breather. It was leaking. No that's replaced now engine warn light on when I push the pedal down. If I turn on and off light goes off. It's a small lose of power. On the up and up hills I lose a lot. I am still getting good speed. Will the crankcase breather make you loose power?? Hopefully someone can help thanks
