I have heard it is best to don’t even go used or reman, just buy a new one. I heard it is only a little bit more expensive the. Reman so just get new.
    What I have read.

Had mine overhauled at 684k for a non head related issue and the head went in the scrap pile along with the cam .
I think ISXs get a bad rap as most are fleet engines that receive really bad maintenance until the fleet dumps them ...then it's to late .

I guess that RAWZE guy really knows his way around an ISX- Id never own one because of the price of parts- But that Rawze makes owning one Slight appealing as he nurses many wounds from drivers running them to death without maintenance (Low oil changes etc)

The price of parts? Compared to what other engine? Because they sure aint more expensive than a Cat or any of the new Paccar or Detroit parts.

Are you rebuilding motors,And working on them like we do?

If so, Youd know the cost of a Frickin injector for an ISX is $500 more per injector than a C-12-13-15 cat- Way more than a 60 detroit.

You wanna go further- Price me an ISX Turbo- Or air compressor, Or a reman head- New Motors Rape you guys on parts and accessories
